SunEnergyXT Manufacturer Warranty Terms
By purchasing or using the product, the customer confirms that they have carefully read, understood, and fully accepted all terms of this warranty.
To ensure product performance and safe operation, the product must be used in accordance with the instructions in the user manual regarding intended use, installation, and maintenance.
This manufacturer warranty applies only to products used under normal operating conditions. Any damage or performance issues caused by improper use, operation, or maintenance are not covered by this warranty.
Article 1 Scope and Products
1.1 These terms define the scope and content of the manufacturer warranty provided by SunEnergyXT for its Hybrid Energy Storage Systems and Expansion Storage units (hereinafter referred to as “Products”) to end customers (hereinafter referred to as “Customer”).
1.2 These terms apply to the following products:
- (1) Hybrid Energy Storage System, Model: SunEnergyXT 500
- (2) Hybrid Energy Storage System, Model: SunEnergyXT 500 PRO
- (3) Expansion Storage, Model: SunEnergyXT B500
1.3 This manufacturer warranty is a voluntary commercial warranty and does not affect the customer’s statutory warranty rights under German law.
Article 2 Warranty Period
2.1 Overall Warranty Period
- The Products are covered by a warranty period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.
- To claim warranty service, a valid proof of purchase (e.g., invoice) must be provided.
- Without valid proof of purchase, warranty claims under these terms will not be accepted.
2.2 Warranty Extension
Within 30 days of receiving the product, the customer may extend the warranty period to a total of ten (10) years by scanning the QR code provided in the user manual and subscribing to our newsletter.
The specific conditions and procedures are subject to the regulations published by SunEnergyXT.
2.3 Warranty for Key Components
(1) Battery Storage Section
Under normal operating conditions, the battery is warranted for a performance period of ten (10) years.
(2) Inverter Section
The inverter is covered by a warranty period of ten (10) years.
Article 3 Warranty Coverage
3.1 If functional defects occur within the warranty period due to design, material, or manufacturing defects, SunEnergyXT will, at its sole discretion, provide one of the following services:
- (1) Repair
- (2) Replacement
3.2 If repair is not possible or not economically reasonable, SunEnergyXT may replace the product with an equivalent refurbished or new product of the same type or with comparable functionality.
3.3 Repaired or replaced products will continue to be covered under the remaining original warranty period.
The warranty period will not be extended or restarted.
3.4 Transportation costs associated with confirmed warranty claims will be borne by SunEnergyXT.
Article 4 Warranty Exclusions
4.1 The following cases are excluded from warranty coverage. In such cases, SunEnergyXT may offer paid repair services, and the customer shall bear the repair and transportation costs:
- (1) Expiration of the warranty period
- (2) Failure to provide valid proof of purchase
- (3) Purchase outside official or authorized SunEnergyXT sales channels
- (4) Tampering with, damage to, or illegibility of the product serial number
(5) Failure to follow the user manual regarding installation, operation, maintenance, or storage, including but not limited to:
- a. Discharging the battery to 0% without timely recharging (at least above 10%), resulting in cell undervoltage
- b. No charge/discharge cycle performed for more than 90 days during standby
- c. Failure to perform at least one charge/discharge cycle every 12 months during storage or use
- d. Operation outside specified environmental conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity, protection class)
- (6) Damage caused by accidents, natural disasters, force majeure, or improper use/abuse
- (7) Disassembly, repair, or modification by unauthorized third parties
- (8) Use of non-certified third-party components or software
Article 5 Warranty Service Procedure

The following information must be provided when submitting a claim:
- (1) Proof of purchase
- (2) Product model and serial number
- (3) Description of the issue
- (4) Photos or videos of the issue (including serial number)
5.2 Remote Diagnosis
Customer support will perform remote diagnostics and provide technical assistance.
If a return is required, further instructions will be provided.
5.3 Product Return
The customer must securely package the product according to instructions and comply with applicable regulations for the transport of dangerous goods.
If these obligations are not met, any additional costs or charges incurred by the carrier will be borne by the customer.
5.4 Warranty Fulfillment
After confirmation of a valid warranty claim, SunEnergyXT will carry out repair or replacement. The replacement product becomes the property of the customer, while the replaced product becomes the property of SunEnergyXT.
Article 6 Limitation of Liability
6.1 The warranty provided under these terms is personal and non-transferable.
6.2 Statutory warranty rights under German law remain unaffected.
6.3 SunEnergyXT’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement.
6.4 To the extent permitted by law, SunEnergyXT shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, or data loss resulting from the use or inability to use the product.
6.5 The maximum liability of SunEnergyXT arising from a single event or a series of related events shall not exceed the purchase price paid by the customer for the relevant product.
Article 7 Territorial Scope
This warranty applies exclusively to products sold and used within the European Economic Area (EEA).
Article 8 Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
8.1 The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
8.2 If the customer is a consumer, their statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
8.3 In the event of disputes, an amicable settlement shall be sought first.
If no agreement can be reached, the competent courts in Germany shall have jurisdiction.
Article 9 Miscellaneous
9.1 These terms constitute the complete agreement between SunEnergyXT and the customer regarding the manufacturer warranty.
9.2 If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
9.3 These warranty terms may be changed at any time without prior notice.
9.4 By purchasing and using the product, the customer agrees to all terms of this warranty.
